Acclaimed American Chef Hugh Acheson visited Luxembourg for a two day culinary program designed to highlight American cuisine and strengthen cultural ties. After a welcome dinner hosted by EuroToques Luxembourg President, Daniel Rameau, Chef Acheson held a private cooking demonstration for industry conatcts that was meant to be a TTIP promotional event, emphasizing the fact that the US has high quality food products and a gourmet culinary tradition. This event was co-sponsored by KACHEN Magazine, BSH and EuroToques Luxembourg and Chef Acheson prepared one of his most famous recipes from the southern US; Frogmore Stew. The next day, at the open-air fresh food market in Esch – Alzette, and co-sponsored by the city of Esch, the Chef worked together with American-inspired food truck entrepreneurs from Luxembourg – Bea of Joo, Kim Conrardy of The Food Truck Company and Vincent Lommel of The Karavan.
