On Friday, September 23 

Location: Luxembourg Place Clairefontaine – Glacis area

Event: Demonstration for Climate. On Friday, September 23 from 15h to 19h, Youth for Climate Luxembourg will gather at Place Clairefontaine and march through the downtown area to conclude at the Glacis. Police expect traffic disruption in the area.

On Monday, September 26

Location: Luxembourg Glacis area – Place de l’Europe (Kirchberg)

Event: Demonstration to demand improvements of working conditions and remuneration for Luxair employees. On Monday, September 26 from 8h, approximately 800 people are expected to take part, with the final destination in front of the Ministry of Mobility on Place de l’Europe (Kirchberg).

Historically in Luxembourg, gatherings of this type and by these groups have been peaceful and orderly, however, you are encouraged to exercise caution and avoid the area as demonstrations can quickly become unpredictable. Local police will be present to monitor both demonstrations. There are no current street closures in effect but that could change depending on the number of protestors.
