During this year’s commemorations the inspiration and crucial lessons drawn from these events will be take center stage, to ensure that society never forgets the wisdom gained from such monumental moments in time.
As attention turns toward a future full of promise, the U.S. and Luxembourg, as key allies and fellow NATO founding nations, will look to secure a peaceful future for the next generations of Europeans. The past 75 years of peace serve as an unprecedented example of the tremendous progress achieved since the end of the Second World War and the establishment of the NATO alliance and the European Union. Safety, security and political stability have brought about significant prosperity. With an eye toward establishing new frameworks for promoting mutual prosperity, 2019 will see the U.S. and Luxembourg working hand in hand on agreements in numerous economic sectors, including Space.
