- STUDENT AND EXCHANGE VISITOR (F, J, M): We have resumed processing of these visa categories. Please follow the instructions to apply for a visa at the U.S. Embassy in Luxembourg.
- INVESTOR/TREATY TRADER (E1 and E2): Please send an email to Luxembourgconsular@state.gov.
- TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT (H, L): Applicants for H and L visas are also subject to Presidential Proclamation 10052 and should request an appointment only if they have reason to believe they may qualify for one of the exceptions listed in the Proclamation. Please follow the instructions to apply for a visa at the U.S. Embassy in Luxembourg.
- TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT (I, O, P): Many purposes of travel under these visa categories may qualify for a national interest exception to PP10143. Additionally, qualified travelers seeking to enter the United States for purposes related to humanitarian travel, public health response, and national security can be granted national interest exceptions. If you believe you qualify for an exception, please follow the instructions to apply for a visa at the U.S. Embassy in Luxembourg.
- PERSONAL OR BUSINESS TRAVEL (Visa Waiver Program/ESTA): Most ESTA questions are covered on U.S. Customs & Border Protection’s FAQ site . In some circumstances, it may be possible to grant a national interest exception to a Visa Waiver traveler.
