U.S. Embassy Luxembourg, Limpertsberg History Friends, and the Ghost Army Legacy Project invite members of the press and public to attend a ceremony to unveil a monument dedicated to the Ghost Army, a special U.S. Army Unit that played a key role in the liberation of Luxembourg in WWII

on September 7, 2023, at 11.00 AM – 11.30 AM in Limpertsberg
(162a, Avenue de la Faïencerie, L-1511).

The ceremony will be attended by the U.S. Ambassador to Luxembourg, Tom Barrett, the Luxembourg Minister of Finance, Yuriko Backes, civil society, commemorative organizations, and members of the public.

Members of the public are also invited to attend the screening of the documentary The Ghost Army (with French subtitles) on September 7 at 7:00 PM at Auditoire BSC 003, Bâtiment des Sciences, Campus Limpertsberg, 162a, Avenue de la Faïencerie, L-1511 Luxembourg by reserving seats via email: luxembourgPDS@state.gov .
