Last night, together with EducationUSA Luxembourg and the International School of Luxembourg, the U.S. Embassy in Luxembourg organized the second Luxembourg College Night (LCN). LCN 2018 was a huge success, with close to 400 attendees visiting with the 30 universities represented.
From major research institutions to small liberal arts colleges, to performing arts programs and professional conservatories, Luxembourg College Night was designed to offer attendees the unique opportunity to find the university program that fits them. With thousands of top universities in the United States, the variety and depth of university programs is a major draw for international students who play an important role in the diversity found in campuses across America.
The event started with an information session focused on the application and enrollment process at American universities. This session was followed by the fair where visitors were able to explore the nearly 35 stands and engage with the universities’ representatives and other institutions.
In his welcome remarks, Ambassador said: ““Education is key to shape our future. And so are cultural exchanges. Seeing so many interested students and American Universities representatives at #LCN 2018 makes me confident we’re on the right path”.
