U.S. Ambassador to Luxembourg, J. Randolph Evans and the Chiefs of Mission from across Europe were honored to be hosted by Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel for breakfast and discussions on September 23, 2020.

Ambassador Evans states:

“Prime Minister Xavier Bettel’s leadership in Luxembourg has been instrumental in maintaining and building Luxembourg’s key role in the European Union. His partnership with our mission has been a model for other nations. It was a true honor to bring other U.S. Ambassadors to Europe and leaders from across America together with him to discuss how to work cooperatively to further the joint interests of the United States, Luxembourg, and Europe.”

Prime Minister Xavier Bettel states:

“It is an honor to welcome this high-level U.S. delegation in Luxembourg. We are all currently facing exceptional circumstances and the fact that this delegation of US Ambassadors from all over Europe, and high-level officials from the U.S. meet here in Luxembourg, is a testimony to the strong and deep historical relationship between our countries. Today, the ties between our countries are flourishing in many sectors including investment and job creation on both sides of the Atlantic, finance, and lately in space. And we are committed to continue exploring ways for Luxembourg and the U.S. to expand and solidify these links.”
