Last night, the Embassy organized a pitch night event and award ceremony for the high school students who participated in the Start-Up 2.0. Youth Entrepreneurship competition. Last January, the students participated in a one week workshop session where they learned how to launch their own business. Co-sponsored by the Future Lab of BNP Parisbas and the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, last night’s event saw 18 groups of students pitch their projects before a professional jury and a large audience. Six students were awarded top prizes consisting of a one week Entrepreneurship camp in the U.S. next summer. Other students won I-Pads, Kindles and gift vouchers. Congratulations again to all students for the great job!
