TTIP Roundtable with Luxembourg and European Youth Parliaments

ttip-roundtable-200Embassy Luxembourg hosted a panel discussion on the merits of the Transatlantic Trade Initiative Partnership (T-TIP) for 50 members of the Luxembourg Youth Parliament and the European Union Youth Parliament. The members of the Youth Parliaments listened while the U.K. Ambassador Alice Walpole, U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Alison Shorter-Lawrence and the DCMs from the German and French Embassies, Karl Martin Schröter and Jean-François Bazin explained their countries’ positions of support for TTIP and why it is so important to all of our nations. The students asked a number of difficult questions but the diplomats were ready with answers for them every time.
