On Thursday October 7, the U.S. Embassy in Luxembourg announced:
The United States Embassy in Luxembourg Chargé d’Affaires Casey Mace is pleased to announce the Embassy will co-host the Benelux Virtual College Fair with EducationUSA Advisors in Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands on 13 October from 17:00-21:00 CET. The virtual program, which replaces the popular Luxembourg College Night event, will provide students interested in studying abroad in the United States unparalleled one-on-one access to representatives from over 30 U.S. colleges and universities and American-accredited universities in Europe. Attendance at the fair is free for students, families, and teachers/counselors, but pre-registration is required.
The primary audience for the event is secondary school students, including those in their last year of studies (“seniors”) who are preparing to submit applications to U.S. universities as well as younger students who are beginning to consider their post-secondary school options. Most of the representatives represent undergraduate programs but can also answer basic questions about graduate enrollment at their institutions.
EducationUSA is a U.S. Department of State network of over 430 international student advising centers in more than 175 countries and territories, including Luxembourg. The network promotes U.S. higher education to students around the world by offering accurate, comprehensive, and current information about opportunities to study abroad at accredited Universities, colleges, and postsecondary institutions in the United States.
