The “Art In Embassies” (AIE) program was introduced almost 65 years ago, envisioned by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). The progam allows each U.S. Ambassador to showcase American art in their Residence abroad.
When we do not have a Resident Ambassador and AIE exhibit, we turn to local artists to fill this role. On May 18, 2017 the Embassy opened an exhibition of art created by students from nine high schools here in Luxembourg
We are grateful to all the talented young artists for being open to sharing their work with us and all our visitors to the U.S.
